Shaping Our Future

Supporting excellence, inclusivity and inspiration

Now that the urgent need to finance and replace most of the school’s dilapidated buildings has been met and the funding has been secured for the final phase of the junior school redevelopment, we are at last able to turn towards our original and principal goal: to widen access to the school through increased bursaries.

Alongside this, we are determined to increase our profile within the local community through partnership work and voluntary service. We also plan to continue with our rebuilding project, turning our attention to both our sporting and hospitality provision. In order to achieve these aims, we must now Shape Our Future with an ambitious new fundraising campaign.

Our three key areas of focus:

  • Excellence without Exclusivity (increasing bursaries)
  • St Paul’s in Partnership (working with the local community)
  • Building to Inspire (continuing to create a world-class school)

Excellence without Exclusivity

If 40 people from a yearly reunion clubbed together, a 5-year bursary would cost each person £59 per month.

“From now on, we as a community bear the responsibility of staying true to Colet’s vision as we shape the future of the school. Together we can achieve all that we set out to do.”
RICHARD CASSELL, CHAIRMAN OF GOVERNORS
