Staff v Parents Football Match raises £30,258

On Monday 13 May, St Paul’s Juniors parents and boys joined together at Loftus Road, home of Queens Park Rangers Football Club, for the annual Staff v Parents football match. Despite the staff racing into an early 3-0 lead, the parents heroically fought back to the delight of the crowd present. The gallant parents almost snatched a draw; laying siege to the staff goal in the final ten minutes, the parents ended up losing 4-3.

Parents generously donated to play in the match and, coupled with a collection on the night; the community raised an impressive £30,258 towards the Shaping our Future Campaign. Particular thanks go to parents Seb Bishop and Jason Gissing for organising the event and to all of those who came along to support.
